- Put the cooked chickpeas through a puree'er.
- Finely chop the onion and garlic and mix with the chick peas.
- Add chopped coriander, turmeric, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Add the beaten egg.
- Mix well.
- Leave to stand for 30 minutes.
- Make into burgers,
- Toss in the flour and fry for a few minutes on each side.
These burgers can be served on a bed of brown rice a long with a few spoons of mango chutney or with a salad.
