This is a fantastic recipe from Angela, it is always a hit a BBQ's, buffets or any other get together where pickies are required.
The idea is that you take an unsliced loaf of bread, slice of the top and scoop out the inside, so that you are left with a container made of bread.
The bits that you have scooped out and the top that you have cut off need to be toasted, so that you can dip them into the dip, so they need to be crunchy.
Ingredients for the Dip
250g sour cream
250g cream cheese
½ cup grated cheese
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp garlic
1 pkt dried onion soup
1 cup cooked drained spinach
It easy, just mix it all together, put it in the fridge to cool.
Put the dip mixture into the bread container just before serving.
As well as the toasted bread pieces, you can use sliced carrot, bread sticks, celery etc. to go with the dip.
