This is a recipe which combines 2 recipes already listed.
The first being the Wholemeal Shortcrust Pastry, which you need to roll out and cut i 6 rounds of 6" diameter each.
The second is the Lentil Cottage Pie, using only the lentil/vegetable mixture as a filling for the turnovers, spoon the mixture onto on half of the pastry and fold over to make a semicircle, sealing the edges with a little milk and pressing with a fork or making flutes with the fingers.
Prick each turnover with a fork and cook in a preheated oven. 200°C(400°F), Gas Mark 6 for 20-25 minutes.
The turnovers can be served hot or cold. Ideal to take on a picnic
